A car travelling at 80km/h 1 metre from solid roadside hazards is comparable to driving 1 metre from the edge of the tip of a five story building. That's how fast the car would be travelling if it fell 25.2 metre or 5 floors. We don't drive close to the side of a 5 story building because we have a fear of heights, we don't have the same fear of roadside hazards. |
